move up, run bad
Tried to move up to 100 nl and failed. -$200. But in reality it was a lot worse than that. It felt like I was running super bad based on the showdowns even though I wasn't losing full stax for the most part. There was a quads<>chop it and pay full tilt $3 for that excellent deal. Then somehow I managed to get stacked 3 times on super rediculous things. Like a retard opens for 6 BB from CO. I 3bet from SB with AKs. Flop comes K52r. I lead 15 in 18. He calls. turn 8 and 2nd diamond(THIS IS IMPORTANT) I check to him so he will get money in with more hands. he checks. turn 5 diamonds. i bet 3/5 of the pot. He calls instead of betting the 30 he had behind. He shows QTd... Similairly rediculous things occur and im stuck 200 again.
Then I play a little 6max and stack fools for $100. I was was also diagnosed with retardation by someone who i can only assume is an expert in the field.
I have changed how I do table selection. I don't have all that fancy 6th sense stuff to find retards so I just use the stats they provide. My main thing used to be ave pot size, but now i am using the ave % to the flop. Since the main measure of badness is a high vpip, this seems like a better measure. Plus i dont know how many hands they use to compute their ave pot size, but it doesnt seem that accurate.
